new grass

yesterday i put grass seed down in the sectioned of part of the run and once that have taken shape the ducks will be moving in there ready for me to sort out the side they are in now but once the grass has grown do i need to wait to put them on it or not ? i didnt know what stuff to get so i jst got the general lawn seed or whatever it was called and says it takes 7 - 14 days to start to show although it might be longer as the ground is way to dry to rake but now i have watered it quite a bit i might be able to start raking it in a bit more , i know its going to take a while for both sides of the run to be what i want it to but i can wait .

as for the ducks i dont think they care as long as i keep giving them showers :lol: :lol: :lol: been standing there on and of all day spraying the hose and they just adore it they even catch the water as its coming out the hose :lol:

At least 2 months Karlooben. They will destroy it as soon as they get onto it but if old enough the roots will have established and it will grow back. Ours destroyed it in a week and it took another two months to recover. So much part-time sectioning off required to keep your grass.
