New Chick Chick Identification Please

Hi i have just bought four new Hens, however they were out of a mixed batch of eggs and am unclear of what breed they are as was the seller.

I am hoping you guys/gals can help me out!

Hi Hilts___Id guess the 2 bigger and older are prob. XCuckoo Marans(ish). Sorry,but I am a bit concerned re the 2 younger and smaller ones-esp.the millefleur. They look fluffed up,poss cold and miserable--watch those 2 (esp coccy/red mite etc) ! Ros

How old are they?
First looks like a Millefleur Pekin, second Lavendar Pekin (maybe silkie feathered? maybe just dirty?), the second do look like Marans X's

Ditto what Ros said, maybe give them a bath then put some tonic in their water and a good sprinkling of Total Mite Kill.
Maybe also worm them with Flubenvet

Thanks for quick reply, the seller said they were all 12-13 weeks old, will do the treatments and give them a bath tommorow.

will take care of the smaller two dont worry, it was cold and wet earlier and they decided to stand out in it rather than use the provided shelter.

when bathing what tips do you guys have?

I'd put them in the sink/tub trug of warm water with some Small Animal/Baby shampoo (have heard other use ecover washing up liquid) just to get those tail feathers a bit cleaner.

Pop them in a cat carrier/dog crate with a towel in, with a heat lamp over if you have one - you can dry them with a hairdryer but they'll dry naturally if not, and then just keep them inside to dry overnight
