The Runners are here :D . They were talking all the way home. One is an escape artist, she found she can get through the mesh :o [she is slightly smaller than the others] funny to see her standing between our two dogs without a care, her breeder has a dog so I guess she is used to them.Hopefully by next week she will have grown & won't fit through!!!!,although they will be allowed some free range in the garden.I also realised I am going to have to get a propper drinker, as one plonked herself in the bowl  [it's only a dog bowl]. They had a swim in the big pool, which I can cover over when I'm not around. I didn't expect them to accept us straight away, so I layed down & they gradually eeked their way to me & settled by my arm, nibbling at my ring & watching me intently as I told them how pritty they were [have you got the Idea I'm a little bit mad????]
I will post photo when my husband makes the file size smaller.

Should I leave the growes pellets out all day or feed to appitite?

Oh you are going have fun!! Runners are totally bonkers :D :D How old are yours? They sound like ducklings, would love to see photos!

Hello, yes, leave the pellets so they can eat when they want- they grow very quickly- looking forward to your pics :) enjoy your girls, ducks can be so trusting.
regards, David :)

Hi, they are 3wks old, we were suposed to get them in September but I managed to pursuade my husband to get the area finished [like "I WANT THEM NOW" kind of thing],to my surprise,it worked :D. They are going to be very fit, as one of my dogs herds them up & down the the fence.
