as some of may know my wee little dutch millifluer bantam had a dodgy eye and after about a week of her not opening it all the time i took her to the vet who instantly put dye in and found a little ulcer on her pupil but after about 3 days her eye started to swell so i figured that shes on the eye drops so it might be a reaction to that but about a week later after working in the run i left and returned to the run within 20 mins she was covered in blood as if her eye had been pecked out but it hadnt, so of we rush to the vets again who then cleaned her up and still could not find anything wrong said to me that she had mycoplasma so ok another different eye cream to try no joy the eye swelled a bit more but after speaking to the lovely foxy i got her on baytril but even though shes been on it 4 days i still wasnt happy and this afternoon took her back to see the main vet who is someone i trust completely he decided the best thing to do was to give her a very very tiny amount of gas and lance the eyelid and out came a solid mass of puss

03 he could not find any foriegn body so we really dont know what caused it
05 weboth decided to keep on the eye drops and the baytril for another 10 days just to be sure but my god is she feeling better or what as soon as we got home she was all over the place and now i am struggling to even get near her eye to clean it she seems so much happier all i got to do now is get her on the road to full recovery
yeh she maybe be blind in that eye but that doesnt worry me i just want her happy again so never ever everignore an eye probelm great thing is its been quite a small price to pay in total less then £80 for all treatment and 3 visits
