Hi All
My little HoneyBuff has got a chronic long term sinus infection and he has had every antibiotic under the sun.... the last resort before possible surgery is nasal flushing which we have started today.
I have to cover one nare and shoot 10ml of baytril solution up the other nare into her sinus cavities. She HATES it and is clearly in distress even when I try and insert the syringe. I feel so bad but I know it is for the best.
My question is, has anyone ever had to administer this treatment before and if so do you have any tips to make it any less distressing for her?
Thanks for your time.
