Hi, the only thing to do is to keep your chickens locked up until you can catch the fox or have it destroyed- it will be back- that's as sure thing- if you can eliminate that one another will move into the area but may not hunt during the day - so as long as you lock up at night they will be fine- unfortunately it now knows the snack bar is only open during daylight hours  Good luck, regards, David :)

Oh Tony, how sad. I had my first little hen family 'taken' for breakfast by foxy. He struck between 5.30 & 8.00 one morning getting inside their run. Its heartbreaking & also frustrating & I was well miffed.

Sadly, there's not much you can do if you're in the path of Mr Fox's home run apparently. There are various deterrents that I've looked up, but don't know how effective they are. Electric fencing seems to be the most popular but there are various other things on the market. there is a thread about this going back to last year, you might find it if you search back through the topics.

I put a roof on the run but still worry.
