Moulting & Associated 'Off Colour'.

For the past month my 2 hens have not laid and they don't eat as much as they did.

In the past couple of days the hen house, the run and our garden has seen an explosion of feathers!

Would this moulting be the cause of my 2 girls being off their food and a bit lethargic compared to their normal upbeat selves?

Most probably, other signs to have noticed were shrunken paler than normal combs and gradual low level feather loss before this sudden drop.

Yes quite normal. They can't be expected to use energy for making eggs and growing all those new feathers at the same time.
When did you last worm them? Flubenvet us now available again, but shop around as the price has gone up since it was last on sale. If they haven't been wormed got some months, now round be a good time, in preparation for winter.
