Can you be arrested for being 'drunk in charge of a chicken' ?

Which reminds me of a chap I met who was the last of the cases heard at Lichfield Court before it closed. 'Drunk in charge of a wheelbarrow' and arrested whilst pushing it through the town centre. "How did they know you were drunk" someone asked. "The barrow was upside down when I was pushing it" he said -now that's really drunk !!

My friend was charged with being drunk in charge of a horse on the New Years day hunt a few years back! Mind you, she was practicing her bending race skills up the middle of the white lines on a main road, after she had been recklessly jumping farm machinery in some guys yard!! :-)07 Funny, didn't go hunting with her again! :-)19
