Mini silver Appleyard ducks

Hi there Can anyone recommend a breeder of the bantam variety of Silver Appleyard ducks in or near East Northamptonshire 11 I have been looking for a pair for ages & they are very hard to come by.

Moreover if anyone has any experience of this breed & I'd be v grateful for any advice you can offer. Many thanks

hi have you thought of getting any eggs and hatching your own.
i have a pair that have laid some eggs and i also have some in my incubator, but i live in Gloucester.

Rita, if you go on ebay you can get poly boxes to safely post eggs through the royal mail on recorded delivery which costs around £5. Even so, i have received eggs off ebay which came packaged in a normal egg carton, each egg individually wrapped it kitchen roll, and the carton was in a shoe box surrounded by newspaper and bubble wrap. Ordered a few eggs on ebay nd never had a broken one! *touch wood*
