This is Mick my new D'Anvers cockerel , what colour is he -- ? blue partridge or not? Also Verity , one of his 3 girls ,I know what colour she is --- mud splashed black! They are so cute , only had them 4 days and have eggs in incubator already! Its all Elmwood's fault!!! RosIMG00140-20110326-1244.jpgIMG00142-20110326-1248.jpg

Hi Ros,

I am more than happy to fully take the blame.......Arn't they just lovely. I don't know what the corect colour term is for Mick, but isn't he so very handsome.

Don't you just find the strutting soldier like stance comical?. Now I know why they are called the ballerinas of the bantam world, the girls pirouette around our garden on their little feet......

As for the eggs' n 'chicks.....might you be parting with some?

Enjoy. x

Eggs/chicks --- no probs. as long as they are fertile! Fingers crossed for the trial of them going on in incubator !I will report back progress. Ros

Oh baby belgians!! Very exciting!!
My hubby has asked if I want an inci for my birthday in May..... would love to but really am not sure about "dispatching of boys" is it something you become hardened to??
