Lucy has recovered!

Just to let you all know that my ex-bat Lucy has recovered from her respiratory illness and also that my girls are starting to sprout new feathers 08 so pleased!!! still have the problem of Henrietta and her prolapse but i have sprayed it with violet and the other girls are leaving her alone - so will just keep a close eye on her until she is unhappy or in pain and then will have to put her to sleep BUT for now - she is ok!

That's very good news all round. Well done, for getting through your baptism of fire with chicken keeping. Maybe you will get an egg or two in gratitude, before too long!

Sounds as though I'd better buy a dozen for the christmas holiday then, & not count on my new girls laying any
