one of my ex batts had stopped eating about 3 or 4 days ago but she wasnt showing an spytoms of any illness she just went dull and sad so this morning after giving her just a few days to see if she would pick up i examined her and she wasnt egg bound but she did have a massive lump just inside her vent which seemed to be attached to her side and i was very worried it might of been a tumour not prolapse { not dealt with that yet though } so i took her to the vet and he agreed the lump very well could of been a tumour so we decided to let her go
even the vet gave her a little cuddle and a tickle under her neck as he took are away he was really good and more then happy with me for giving her a great life after being in battery cages thing is i couldnt tell if she was one of my original ex batts from 3 or 4 yrs ago or one from last year they pretty much all look the same now they are in full feather .
