Listless chicken with green bile!

Doris my oldest chicken has recently become very lethargic, not going to roost at night, eating or drinking. When I've tried to pick her up, and green bile comes out of her mouth! Anyone else heard of this? Very worried about her.

could your hen have sour crop. Check her crop in the morning and if it still has stuff in and is a little like a water ballon could be sour crop. If so you will need to empty it and give her anti fungals if it is really bad.

Probably best to take her to a poultry vet though unless you can be sure. She may have a blocked crop or sour crop and it's very hard to say. Does her crop feel full?
