Hey Everyone!
I caught the incubator bug recently and have been hatching babies every since including chickens, quail and most recently pheasants. My new issue is wether or not to start putting identitiy rings on my birds and if i should when i buy them do i need to mark them to prove they are my birds or just leave them with the colours? Im confused about the rings because all the ones i look at are blank but coloured. I'm just generally confused about them. Any help or advice would be great! I hope everyone is well and all your birds are doing well! Also ive discovered that there is very little information on Pheasants about. Does anyone keep them on the forum and do they have any advice on rearing 6 little darlings.
Thanks again, Mitch.

Hi Mitch

Not sure about the leg rings but someone will be able to answer your question.

Ive got 4 2 week old pheasants, also having trouble finding any info on them. What breed are yours? I dont know what breed mine are, been trying to find chick pics to no avail.

Hi! I've got 6 3 day old ring neck pheasants! There just the common type ones that you see in fields. I got them on ebay and managed to get 6 out of the 7 eggs. What u feeding yours? I've got mine on chick crumb and some meal worm. I saw somewhere that they need lots of protein.

Got mine on chick crumb too, Just hoping theres enough in it for them.
