Hello, humidity is too low-do you know what he humdity you are running it at? call ducks are not the easiest to hatch anyway.

When my Grandmother hatched waterfowl eggs she would use a spray bottle and mist the eggs twice daily. I have carried this over to present times and it has worked well for us.

Of course she used a Kerosene fired incubator, we use both the styrofoam tabletop incubator and the larger cabinet type. Both are from GQF but it seems that they just do not get the humidity high enough for waterfowl eggs.

Another trick that the old timers used was to not turn the eggs, if hand turning, for four days into the incubation. That gave the delicate veins devoloping time to get bigger. The automatic turners are very gentle with the eggs.
