my little wee millifluer bantams have a tendency to close one eye most days well mainly late afternoon onwards it worries me as i think they have something wrong with them but there is no sign of infection no nothing is it just something they do i mean can they go around with just one eye open and rest one :-)05 :-)05

We've got a cream legbar does that (Molly). Always shuts her left eye when she is in the run. Thought it was an ILT flareup, but now you mention it Karminski I think perhaps it is just a way of resting. They are processing two different images all the time so it must be a bit of a headache! Has both eyes open when she is free ranging.

I find I do this quite often also, especially late afternoon onwards, so I know how they feel.
