Hi from Lancashire!
I would just like to introduce myself. We have a smallholding with Longhorn cattle, A Large Black Boar 1 Large Black sow 1 Saddleback sow and a mixed flock of chickens which we hatched out in the incubator. I am interested in owning some Brecon Buff Geese! I have just bought some hatching eggs off ebay i haven`t been able to source them anywhere else. Is there anyone out there that may have or know of anyone who has any hatching eggs for sale please?
 
Welcome to the forum Marg. Quite a collection you have there. We've had lambs in the past but we only have limited space so it went to more chickens. Haven't tried Geese yet, but with neighbours like ours they would be a good idea!
 
Thanks chrismahon! What breed of lambs did you keep? I fancy a couple of Jacobs i dont know if hubby will let me have some though!
What breed of chickens do you have? I wanted these geese because they recon they are very friendly!
 
We kept two horn Jacobs for three years and they were small and friendly. Then ended up with a pair of huge Texels which were unmanagable. The ewe, Lauren, has moved down the canal a few hundred yards (took three of us to lift her into the truck) and is now a proud mummy with two girls.

Our chickens are all Pedigrees (except Daffodil) mainly Wyandottes, Blue Laced and Gold laced. We also have Buff Orpingtons with a pet cock called Bottom. Some Brown English Leghorn Bantams and some Black Transylvanian Naked Necks which are particularly lovely, but not everyone's cup of tea apparently! 6 cocks and 27 hens in 6 separate flocks.

Pity you can't come over for the National shows at the end of the year. The first time we went we were staggered by the range of breeds available. Would like Faverolles next.
