my first little chick has died, it pipped and his beak was out and i went to check on him and no noise i tapped the shell nothing i opened it up and he was dead in the shell, i was really worried that this would happen, i have another that has broken the shell but this one is still alive, it's only day 26 i am worried that the other will die also.

We've had a few like that Rita. It's always sad, but fingers crossed for the other one. Presumably you have more than one more to come as they do need company.

Hi yes i put 6 eggs in, one that has died the other has been struggling all yesterday and today to get out so i have helped, not sure if it will survive as there was some blood, i stopped when i saw it and put him back, i have just managed to get his head out and will leave him to do the rest, he has absorbed his sack in his tummy, but looks so exhausted, so will leave him in the incubator tonight if he survives. There is nothing going on with the other eggs at the moment but they are not due to hatch until tomorrow. This is so stressful, i feel exhausted with worry.
Will it be ok to keep the humidity up on high with the duckling still inside the incubator over night, just encase the others start to hatch.
all i can do is wait and pray that he survives and that the others will hatch so that he has company.
Thanks for your advice, i am glad their is someone on the end of the line to help and give advice.

Yes Rita. Leave as is and fingers crossed again. Hatching is supposed to be a joy and it is -when all the stress is finally over!
