Introducing new chickens!!!

What is the best way to introduce more chickens to existing chickens??
They will be free range in 150 sq mtr run & sharing the hen house, will they fight? can they be younger birds??

When we did this, we kept them seperate for a while, (several days) with chicken wire between the areas, and a temporary seperate house, but so they could see each other through it. Then we let them mix in the same area and they took them selves to bed in the same house, with occasional bickering, but that's apparantly natural establishing of the pecking order. hope this helps. they were roughly the same age.
