incubation day 5

Hi all,
We ordered some eggs which came 5 days after they were posted out so never had high hopes for them lol.
Anyway, its day 5 of incubation today and decided to candle them, I cant really see much and to be honest i dont really know what im looking for. they all have black masses in them, some bigger than others. ive took a couple of pictures.................

All the eggs pretty much look the same but some have smaller masses.
Any thoughts? As I dont really know what im looking at #-o

I cant tell from the pics, but Im useless at candling :lol:

IF I candle its at 12 days, as I worry about damaging the development earlier. Im sure an experienced candler will be along soon 17

bit early to tell, the dark mass is the yolk, the shells look quite porous so you might have to wait a bit.

I usually candle at day 7, with most eggs you can see something developing by then- some are harder to do than others though!

hey all

just letting u kno weve candled the eggs its day 9 and weve got one infertile two look like blood rings two posible fertilitys and ones defo fertile

we could see the embryo moving around abit 17
