i have a dilemma

they have both gone to thier new home i am really sad but at least they will be fed and watered , they may not get as much care as i would give them i.e thier tonics etc when needed .

i'm going to miss them so much although i can go and see them when i want all i got to do is pull into a side road and look over the fence , poor little guys a lorry went past the field they are in and it freaked them right out and when we let them out the box they kept running into the fence and the run doesnt have a roof on it and that worries me that they will fly out god i am stupid .

Glad to hear you've taken them to their new home and even more glad you've made the decision not to hatch any more if it put's you under such stress.

i was talking to someone last night from another forum and i told her that i am going to stick to ex batts for the big eggs which i sell to friends and family but then get little bantams as my pet birds those i can just go buy from anywhere thats good even if i have to travel as there is a few breeds i would like but if my maran goes broody again then i very well may do bantam eggs under her but this time round i wil learn and have the males culled very early on but with this i have leant .
people say dont get attach to the but thats impossible  think thats what made it harder to get rid of the boys .
