You know what'll happen, Karminski- no sooner will you get the chooks all into the dry in their plush roofed run than a drought will start; no ran for months & the earth'll be dry as a bone ;)

 probably will happen knowing my luck but at least i'll be ready for the next lot of rain ;)

PVC. Sheets let in a lot more light than Onduline and are much easier to handle. You do need to fix them down very well, with lots if the special screws which cushion the plastic, so they are wind proof. I was pleasantly surprised at how light my run was, once I'd taken off the old onduline that was over one part, and substituted PVC all over. It's been great this winter and all the rain drains ino a gutter and then into our pond,

Good point from Marigold there Karminski. The plastic roofing panels need to be fitted with good screws and large sealing washers to stop them pulling off in the wind -the screws pull through the plastic otherwise.

i got those before and still have them , onduline lasts longer then pvc though but thats why its a pain to decide extra light or long lasting :-)05 :-)05 :-)05 i must admit the covered run does feel darker but doesnt seem to bother the girls but with covering the one in front of it with onduline as well worries me that it might make it seem even darker .
