How to make the perfect mash

Hi, i was just wondering what measurments you use for the perfect mash.

Well i think most people put warm water in the mash to entice the chicken especially on a cold winters day.

most chicken owners prefer to feed layer pellets because chickens tend to be picky

my chooks will only eat warm wet mash if i add cooked up veg with it, otherwise they prefer it dry.
