How to feed ducks

Hi, how do you feed ducks when you have free range hens that nip into the duck pen and steal the barley. Never thought about this before getting the ducks, it was my intention to have both the ducks and hens free ranging, but how do you feed them seperately.

Hi, try putting some whole wheat in their water bucket- that way the hens cant eat it and the ducks will love "dabbling" for it- wheat is much better than barley.

Thanks David. I will give it a try. I am actually feeding them wheat, I don't know why I put barley, must have had a senior moment. Thanks again
