How much space does a Pekin need inside the henhouse?

Morning,
Yesterday I had all my Pekins lay - that's 4 lovely eggs for me. Yummy.

Mindful of the comments that I should leave them a day or two before eating, I lodged them carefully on my bantam Egg Skelter (if you haven't got one of theses, get one, there great) and am waiting excitedly to try them out to see if my new girls' eggs have improved over the last couple of weeks with me.
Also they're all the same size, which means my baby, Lemony, must have been laying for a few weeks, but I thought is was all Buffy. My new girls' eggs were larger when they arrived on Good Friday, but already Buffy and Lemony have caught up in size.

That has little to do with this post, I'm just so happy that I thought I would tell you all. :D

Anyway, I was wondering about getting a couple more Pekins from Victoria's Poultry in June, as we eat 18 (full size) eggs a week on average. But, to assuage hubby, I got rid of my large henhouse and got a smaller one. This was to stop me from getting any more as it would house 10 bantams - didn't work very well, did it!

My 4 girls all cuddle up together in the nesting box and don't roost. How much floor space do they need in the henhouse? I think I read somewhere that a bantam needs 9" to roost in, but what about moving space. Also, the size difference between my previous 'normal' bantams and the true breeds is enormous, the Pekins being half the size of my Light Sussex and Welsummer cross. They are only inside at night, have 140 square feet of enclosure and the full run of the garden for most of the day.
What do you think?

OK,
I found this on the Poultry Club of great Britain wesite -

"Floor area should be a minimum of 1 square foot per bird (large fowl) or 8" square for bantams. If you can give them more space then so much the better bearing in mind they will be spending time in the henhouse sheltering from the rain and wind. Perches should allow a minimum of 9" for large fowl and 6" for bantams and be 2" wide."

Answerinig my own questions - what a saddo! :(
