Anyone been affected by this situation with the flights & volcanic ash problem?

A school near us has been 13 teachers short because they are stuck abroad, a friend of mine has been stuck in San Fransisco since last saturday. She said they wouldn't have minded so much if they hadn't already been away for 10 days :) & a delivery I've been waiting for is now not expected until the end of MAY :o

I went to my dentist this week, its even been affecting him as a lot of their work (bridges, false bits & pieces  ) are made in South Africa! I'm in the wedding business so you don't have to imagine very hard as to the chaos its causing to already hyper brides :o they're ready to lynch someone, (lets hope its not me  )

Only thing that has affected me is that someone wanting some pekin hens is stuck in spain and can't collect her birds but it doesn't really worry me too much, they are happy here.
I'm only glad she asked me to keep them till she returned or they might of been left not being looked after

I noticed more clear blue sky, less noise.

Suits me just fine :)

Osric
