i have been thinking about making my whole plot into a chicken run for some time now and even more so laterly as the weather has been so pants that its making it differcult to grow anything so i called the council this morning and asked if there was any reason on why i cant not make my whole plot a chicken run and after a few minutes of umm and ahhs the woman said 'well i cant see no reason why not ' so come the end of the season i will start work on making the whole plot a run which means the little bantams will have tons of space 
and the part i am growing on doesnt get bogged down which means i could double membrane that area and have the girls on bark full time so they wont get muddy and yukky or better still make 4 eqaul pens which can be switched around an rested every few months i think this will make my run 33ft by 40ft plus cant remeber so will have to measure up ad no it wont cost me tons as a lot of my stuff i can get free or really cheap .

well maybe i do once every 3 weeks or so as my plot is kept clean and tidy , i was thinking about using the bantams section for still growing veg in as thats only 33ft by 5 ft wide and all i would have to do is move thier outer fencing to the main pathway and then replace that with yarris fencing panels that i can get for free that way i dont lose out and the bantams still get a much larger area but i cant do nothing just yet so gives me plenty of time to plan things .
