I saw that somewhere else earlier. Seems the original owner did the art on the walls & ceilings himself, and when he died in I think the '20s, his granddaughter lived there for the next 85 years, and just left the house the way it was. What a gem.

A man that used to visit here occasionally from somewhere in the UK had lodged with an elderly lady for several years. Her house had not been redecorated or modernised in any way since the 1940s. Not even a refreshing coat of paint.
