Hookbills moulting

Hiya - does anyone know approximately how long the duck's moult goes on for? Do they need to be given any special or extra attention/nutrients during this time? They have stopped laying and losing feathers for over a week now so presume this is normal!

this is perfectly normal , it might be worth giving them extra food so they don't loose too much weight .

Usually a few weeks.

We kept Aylesbury ducks for a while and they moulted and it was all over and done within a few weeks. Of course, they didn't all moult at exactly the same time so it did go on longer overall but we just kept sweeping the yard till no more feathers littered it :roll:
