Hi Bashmentist and welcome to the forum. Pleased you've found it useful already. Coccidiosis is a bit of a diagnostic grey area, like a lot of other illnesses -Myco being one. Treatments vary for chicken ailments between vet prescribed and 'home remidy' and can be equally effective but rather different prices. Of course there are some ridiculous home remidies as well, like WD40 for scaly leg mite. Someone tried it on their hen and it "screeched in agony" until it was washed out!
