Hi, I haven't got any ducks or chickens yet but am hoping to get a few ducks next year. I have joined this forum to hopefully learn as much as I can about the different breeds (see which breed would be best for me) and how to care for them properly. No doubt I will have a few questions along the way

Hello Kel3 and welcome to the forum. Afraid I know almost nothing about ducks -hand reared a couple of stray Mallard chicks and that's it.

This forum is an offshoot of www.poultrykeeper.com (see link at the bottom of this page, ) and the Poultrykeeper site has a section on keeping ducks, as well as information on different duck breeds under the Poultry Breeds tag at the top of the menu there.
If you have a look through the threads on the Waterfowl section, you'll see we have an active interest in ducks on here, and dorsetduckowner, one of our other moderators, has a wealth of practical experience to offer.
