Hello.
I was wondering if anyone can shed any light on why two of my Araucana hens crow first thing every morning :?
They are both two years old and have always laid eggs Cleo is more prolific than Hyacinth (AKA Attila the Hen on account of her being really bossy and picking on the others alot  ) I don't have a cockerel and wondered if that had something to do with it. Hyacinth is actually quite convincing as a cockerel if you can see her & Cleo sounds exactly like you expect a hen trying to crow to sound
Seriously though, is there anything medical that I should be getting checked out or is this normal for hens with out a male influence?
Any help would be most gratefully received
