hi my broody hen is sitting on 6 eggs now, 3 fertilised and 3 of her own unfertilised , however yesterday she never came off the eggs for food or water, previous days she came out around 2pm fora while to have a quick meal, drink and poo, should i turf her off the eggs or leave her , obviously i dont want her to starve.
:?

i would see what she does today, also if she has eggs under her that are not fertile i would remove them incase they go bad underneath her and explode, not ice when that happens and it stinks!

she didnt come out today, so i physically lifter her out and threw some corn on the floor which she had a very small amount, she had one sip of water and a big poo but the marsh daisy wouldnt let her eat much even though i tried to keep her away. it was like when i introduced them to each other the marsh daisy bantam was a real bully. she was out for about 3 mins and then ran back to the eggs. Guess i will have to get her out again tomorrow.

Best lift her off if she's reluctant to come off herself. Did you say Marsh Daisy bantam ? There's no such thing, only large fowl.
