My duck has a growth under her behind and I'm not sure what to do.
We don't have any local vets who will help, and as I don't know what it is... I can't seem to help my baby.

She is a Muscovy, and has been laying the past 2years I've had her.
She seems unfazed by it, and still her normal chirpy self, and is still eating.

Any help would be great thankyou!

Hello Shonay_jayne and welcome to the forum. I don't know a lot about ducks but had a very similar condition in a young hen. A lump the size of a golf ball which appeared in just one week. The vet diagnosed a tumour which she thought was probably one of many she had and sadly we lost her a few weeks later, despite antibiotics and anti-inflammatories. Hopefully yours is less invasive. In the absence of a vet's opinion if she is happy I would leave her alone. Presumably the growth is under the skin, is very firm and not weeping. The same condition as our hens' was.

Hiya, sorry to hear you are having trouble getting help from an avian vet. Where are you located? There is a poultry vet who does online consultations for £15. She is very well respected and may help. Her name is Victoria Roberts. Google Vicvet.
