Hi everyone, I'm new to all this so please bear with me lol I've just started a poultry and waterfowl business with my sister and looking forward to the joys and challenges we face ahead so you may see me on here looking for advice or simply sharing my happy times. So here's a big hello to all my fellow poultry and waterfowl admirers.

Hello and welcome to THE forum RhubinaFach. I admire your spirits, starting a business at the moment. Think it's all about building a reputation for quality and reliability, getting known in the breeders circles and not spreading yourselves too thin with too many varying breeds of lesser quality. There seems to be a big demand for quality hatching eggs, but half the problem could be the equipment people are using to hatch.

We're looking to do something based on dual purpose utility breeds. As those qualities have almost diappeared in Pedigree stock it may be a long process. But it would be nice to have pretty and practical.

Hello Rhubina,
Ambitious what? Or have you had loads to do with poultry before? Most important thin, you probably know, is to keep anything you buy in new well away from your other stock. Cheers Gillian
