Hi all
,
I've lived and worked with animals all my life. I never thought much of poultry (I'm more of a horse & dog person
), but have gotten a goose for my birthday present last year. So I started to Google... found her a mate... more Googling and reading... she lay her first egg this spring... we have five goslings now
. Needless to say in a very short period of time I became fascinated with these birds
.
We keep them free-range, they have free access to a stream behind our house, they're fabulous grass-mowers and interesting to observe.
I have lots and lots to learn and I am eager to do so. So, hello to all of you and thank you for all and every infromation you can give me
.
I'm off to the forum now - having some questions regarding the goslings: http://poultrykeeperforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=8108
