Hello from New Zealand

Hi there,

My name is Barb. I have four little white silkies who I absolutely adore.

They spend their days lazing about in the sun dust bathing and love nothing better than to hide out in the vege garden. Thankfully their feathered feet means they don't do much damage and they seem to keep the nasty bugs at bay.

Hi Barb,, and welcome to the Forum. Its great to have someone from New Zealand - I don't know of any other members from there and its always very interesting to hear about poultry keeping in other countries. My knowledge of New Zealand is largely limited to marvelling at the scenery in The Lord of the Rings films, its certainly a very beautiful country, so I shall look forward to hearing more from you.

Hi Flintspark (Barb) and welcome to the forum. NZ is one of the places I've always wanted to visit. Gave serious thought to emigrating there 40 years ago. Spent 5 years working for a NZ guy called Alan Gibbs -we were designing (badly) an amphibious car called the Aquada. Now I design and build chicken stuff for the back garden -much more fun!
