I just wanted to introduce myself and my chooks.

Although I'm new to this forum, I have kept chickens for a while (well the family have and I look after them most of the time).
However, I have just recently become the proud owner...ok slave :lol: to 3 (now 9 week old) Sablepoots. My 1st chooks of my own

Hi Poots, and a big welcome to the forum,, for you and your beautiful birds. I can certainly see why you are enslaved to such lovely chickens.
Congratulations also on working out how to post photoa AND create yourself an avatar, all on your first post. It took me much longer than that to work out how to do it.

Hello Poots and welcome to the forum. I'm as impressed as Marigold as I still struggle with posting photos and my avatar needs updating because Claude's son Jean-Claude is even more handsome.

A fine looking trio of birds. Two hens and a cockerel I guess.

Thanks Marigold and chrismahon. They are indeed two hens and 1 cockerel, they have good breeding behind them so I'm hoping to possibly breed a show bird from them. They are already very friendly too.

I have had a bit of experience with posting photos and setting up accounts with this system due to being a member of another forum for horses which uses the same one I have an unfair advantage lol
