I've been keeping chickens for about 18 months, learning and having fun all along. I recently acquired a pair of ducks and am hoping to add more.

I'm looking forward to learning more on this forum, especially about setting up my very broody silkies with a place to hatch some chicks.

Hello Soliloquy72 and welcome to the forum. Silkies are renewed for being broody. Sure they are not as bad as Transylvanian Naked Necks though? Just need to be sure your broodies are two years old and in perfect health with no lice or mites. We put ours in a purpose built very secure coop and run which can be moved at night without disturbing the mother and chicks.
