I just wanted to say hello from Cyprus to all of you poultrykeepers!! my best regards to all of you :D

Hi Alasialand and welcome to the forum. We've got someone else on here from Cyprus. My parents spent some time over there in the late 50's. Never been there but seen plenty of other Greek islands and some Turkey as well. Being politically correct here, as you don't say North or South.

thanks Marigold, yes Alasia is an ancient name of Cyprus.

Crismahon, thanks and you are more than welcome to visit my island ( being politically correct... there isn't North or South Cyprus, only Cyprus)

Thanks Alasiialand. As you say there is only one Cyprus. The section to the North the Turks invaded has never been Internationally recognised. I used to shoot with a chap who was displaced from the North. He came over to England and set up a Company called Express Cartidges (shotgun) near Tamworth in Staffordshire and made his fortune. What sort of poultry do you keep?

Sorry for the late reply!!! Light/buff/gold partridge Brahma LF, White/blue/partridge Silkies, Silver sebrights, Booted, and now i am waiting some hatching eggs of Buff Laced/Silver Pencilled/Chocolate Wyandottes, Pekins, Hamburg and polands.
i hope mother nature be nice with me!!!
you?

Buff Orpingtons, Blue laced Wyandottes, Black Transylvanian Naked Necks and Brown English Leghorn Bantams are our current breeding sets Alasialand. Have a few others as well, but only hens. Bought them with us when we emigrated last year. When we have bought a place we want to add Salmon Faverolles and Marans (the original French ones).

Good luck with your hatching.
