Hello all!
My name is Jon but most people know me as Mez.
I live in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria & work in psychiatric re-hab support.
Ever since I was a boy when I used to spend school holidays on my grandparents small farm I have wanted my own chickens, I loved to spend hours watching them & collecting their eggs (they were truely free range birds so eggs could be found anywhere & everywhere!)
I'm not yet owned by any chucks but I am hoping to get a few Bantams in the not too distant future.
Space is a little limited at the moment (hence wanting bantams) but we do have our house on the market & large gardens/land is the top priorty in our next home & we are also on the waiting list for an allotment,
I've got a house & run set up ready & waiting, hoping to get either some Dutch or Sablepoot bantams.
Bantams won't be the only animals in our household as we already have 9 guinea pigs, 2 cats & 4 working cocker spaniels (+2 staffy X pups awaiting rehoming).
