Hi

I'm new to the forum and fairly new to chicken keeping, we have 4 chickens living happily in a coop and outdoor run down the garden. Winnie the Partridge Wyndotte, Lois the Buff Sussex, Roxy the Black Rock and Buffy the Buff Silkie. They could be joined by a couple of Poland's next spring.

I'm hoping to learn a lot from this forum and also contribute a bit. Looking forward to meeting new people and maybe bumping into some old friends from other forums.

Welcome to the Forum Celtic Eagle,

Polands are gorgeous. They are higher maintenance but such fun to keep. If you bump into Snifter on the forum, I'm sure she can give you lots of tips on Polands.

You'll find me lurking on here most days of the week

Thank you for joining us, I hope you have fun here. :)

Tim.

Hello and welcome GE :) Good to have you join us.

And yes as Tim said I do like my Polands and have kept them for a few years now. I'd always have a Poland somewhere in the collection as they are such characters. But as Tim said they are more high maintenance and can't always be kept in with the other chooks and left to it.

Anyways, if you want to ask anything on them feel free. Happy to help :)
