Hello from a relative Newbie!
I adopted 4 call ducks last September and haven't looked back since!
Not having kept ducks before I didn't quite know what to expect but since having them I have wasted soooooo many hours just getting to know their little "ways" and just generally loving them lol.
I have 2 white( Diva and Frankie), 1 Apricot(Peaches) and 1 chocolate(Teaser).
The first egg was laid on January 31st of this year. Not sure if that is about the right time of the year for them to start laying but now all 3 girls are laying and I have 2 eggs in my incubator that are fertile which have 2 more weeks to go before they hatch. I am sooo excited (and impatient) but also a little cautious and nervous because after researching hundreds of items on the internet it seems that Calls are notoriously difficult to hatch.
I was hoping that maybe by joining this forum Other more experienced call duck keepers can help me get through the unknown lol
bye for now and I look forward to gaining more knowledge of all ducks !!
