I went on holiday for one week. just a week. Came home and turned on my computer thinking I had a lot to catch up on on the pekinbantam forum and it was gone!! thought my computer had gone on strike. Finally put a search in for it thinking maybe they had changed there address and found this site. i will sadly miss the pekinbantam forum I'm still quite new to keeping chickens and it has been a wealth of information help and advice. Thank you very much for starting up this forum and heres hoping others find it


I have pekins, 2 ex batt girls, 1 little orpington chick, 4 silkie chicks, aviary birds( far to many to list lol ) a dog, cat, rabbit and a rat

Hi Stepyone,

Yes, I was pretty upset too. Our poultrykeeper.com forum was always going to be a small forum, imbedded into the site for feedback / questions etc but as the user numbers went up and we had problems with the forum software that just weren't worth fixing, we looked at this stand-alone solution.

It's online a bit sooner than planned but it is a 'clean' installation and can be adapted as we go along to suit. The key is whether or not enough people find it - and - whether or not they decide to stay. I have tried contacting Simon at PB to see if he could put a note up on his homepage with a link to us but I haven't heard back from him yet. It's early days though.
