hello any PEKIN CHICKEN people out there?!

Hello : ) I have two pekins (lavender pekins). One is a bit pecky towards the younger one 05 They get along ok during the day, but if they are put too closely together, the pecking begins. I keep wondering if the older pullet may be a rooster. I have had two orpingtons , one of which turned out to be a roo, so maybe I'm over anxious!!
Does anyone know about sexing pekins? The one thing I notice about the older one is that he/she has a very pinky/red face, something that the roo I had previously developed.

Hello,
I'm not an expert but Pekins are usually sexable at about 4 weeks or so. The girls comb remains pink/cream
and the boys start to redden up, and then the dreaded wattles! Having said that, I have a 7 week old lemon cuckoo with deep pink comb, who every week nearly gets returned to her seller.
Hope this helps, also hope my lemon cuckoo continues in "she" mode.
