Just thought I'd introduce myself. I'll be the one asking all manner of stupid questions.

Hopefully Santa will be bringing me money for Christmas and I'm looking to get my Chicken set up in the new year, and I want to do all the research I can beforehand.

Hello, we are kind people.
As you are a bantams person, do you have Pekins? I have ten, and love them all, they are just so cute.

On the other end of the scaIe I also have 9 Croad Langshans, who are huge black glossy chickens, very sweet tempered, and also lovely.

Anyway all the best, I think chicken keeping is the best hobby in the world.

Hi Louise, and welcome. We shall all be interested in your proposed setup, we love discussing coops, runs etc. Do have a look through past threads and ask as many questions as you like - there are no stupid questions! Setting up for chickens is expensive and it's easy to make decisions about housing, or even about numbers and type of chickens, which you may want to change in the light of experience, so do fire away and tell us what you plan to do for your setup.

Hello Louise a big welcome from Essex. There is no such thing as a stupid question, our main concern is how soon you succumb to " morehens" disease.
You had better tell Santa to bring you extra money as it strikes without warning
