hatching results

i have a question i would like to ask members? this year i have more cockerels than pullets hatch but it only seems to be my pekin it affects my indian game have hatched about 50- 50,a couple of friends say they have same problem. would be interested to hear if others have had same problem or just our bad luck.

It happens. You'll find that if you hatch a lot over several hatches and different years they will probably average out 50/50.

i normally get 60/40 boys and find if i loose any they girls. the boys seem to be stronger

thanks for reply it seems from your answers i must have been unlucky, just hope next year things will be better and will have more pullets.

hi, agree with daniellesdogs, boyls are stonger
