Following the loss of 2 of my chooks a few weeks back, i thought I'd show a pic of one of my replacements, a silver sussex which is coming on leaps and bounds. She reallly is a big girl and she is about half the size again of my other birds 2- blackrocks and a speckledy. Can someone tell me if she should be this big?

Hi there and thanks, well she took a long time to start laying, we bought her as an 18 week old early June, but she only started laying about 3 weeks ago which would be at about 28 weeks old, but maybe she was younger than we thought as she did seem quite small originally. She has however been laying every day since.
