Hannover Poultry Show 17th-18th October

I was wondering whether anyone else was going to the Hannover Poultry Show this year?

I'm flying out (very :? ) early on Saturday and staying until Sunday night. Can't wait.

I will of course be taking my camera and video camera to capture some of it and hope to share a little of the excitement with you. It's a huge show in comparison to the British shows.

If you're going and would like to meet up to say hello then please let me know. So far, I'm meeting Chris and Mike Ashton to talk about ducks on the Saturday but will hopefully bump into a few others over there.

So it's an early night tonight for me - got to be up at 3am to drive to Stanstead for my flight. :roll:

I should arrive at the show at 11am all being well...

OK so, I'm back safe and sound and have spent the best part of a half day going through 400 photos. I have put a small selection into this article on the site:

The rest of the photos are going to take some time to edit and upload but they will be added to the various breeds sections that are still under construction:

Chicken Breeds
Duck Breeds
Goose Breeds

I hope to have them all uploaded by the end of November all being well.
