I am totally new to this. I now have the house, the run, the feeders, even the feed but so far, no chickens. I want to get 3 Gingernut Rangers, anyone know somewhere close to York who will have them available.

I would also like to know if there is another member in my area for chicken chat. 07

Hi June, good to meet you, you've come to the right place, lots of helpful people on here!
First of all, could you start a new thread of your own, in the General Chickens section, where more people are likely to see it and respond? It would be helpful to know more about your plans and preparations, and follow your progress. Could you let us know what sort of coop you have, and how big the run is, in sq.metres? That will affect how many birds it's sensible for you to consider getting.
Also, do have a look at the Poultrykeeper website (link at the bottom of each forum page) which has lots of good info for newcomers to poultrykeeping.
